T.D. Jakes House
TD Jakes House Fort Worth Texas
After Bishop Jakes relocated to Fort Worth, he purchased this 14,045 square foot mansion for $5.5 million in December 2004, which was a steal considering the home’s original price tag of $7 million. The estate has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms (including two half baths), and sits on 17.8 acres of land.
TD Jakes’ house was built in 1979, but it underwent a massive three-year renovation in the 1990s that was finally completed in 1997. The architecture is a beautifully blended combination of contemporary and modern design, and the interior of the residence features vaulted ceilings, three fireplaces, and a wide variety of flooring options such as marble, wood, carpet, and stone. A wet bar, guest house, 7-car garage, sports court, and swimming pool with an attached spa are among the amenities.
As if that wasn’t enough, The Jakes bought the house next door just two months later, in February 2005. The 6,236-square-foot home sold for an undisclosed sum, but property records show it’s now worth far more than $1.2 million. You may also check Andy Milonakis Net Worth.
TD Jakes House Dallas (former)
T.D Jakes’ former traditional style mansion in Dallas was built in 1987 and purchased by the Jakes in 1990. It has 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and 10,681 square feet of living space. The home’s entrance, which sits on a 1.96-acre plot across from White Rock Lake, is lined with tall, elegant white pillars and gorgeous two-story windows, letting you know you’re in for a treat before you even walk through the glass-paned wooden double doors. Inside, there’s a large kitchen with a fireplace, granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and a door leading to a terrace with views of the lake. There is also a large formal dining room with French doors that lead out to one of the property’s several patio spaces for larger dinner gatherings.
The bedrooms are located up the double staircase in the grand entrance, including the master suite, which has a fireplace, a private loggia, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with his and her vanities. A bar, a game room, and an office are among the amenities. Some may argue that an office is not an amenity…but try working from home without one! For those who prefer to spend the majority of their time outside, the home’s grounds provide an endless supply of awesomeness, including a swimming pool, gym cabana, koi pond, built-in outdoor grill, and plenty of space for outdoor entertaining.

Despite the fact that the church’s actual capacity was only around 8,000 at the time, the church had grown a massive following in 2008, with weekly gathering numbers ranging around 17,000. The building itself was founded by televangelist W.V. Grant and was originally known as the Eagles Nest Family Church, but after being convicted of tax evasion in 1996, Grant sold the building to Jakes, who renamed it The Potter’s House.
Jakes expanded his new church after establishing it, spending $45 million to add a 191,000 square foot addition to the structure. The auditorium, which opened in 2000, has a large stage, cascade seating, a cutting-edge sound system, and a loft that can accommodate 450 choir members. By 2010, The Potter’s House had grown to over 30,000 members and had opened five new campuses in Dallas, North Dallas, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Denver. Due to COVID-19, all in-person events are currently suspended, and services are being streamed online instead.
